Prof. Javad Kojouri
Professor Javad Kajouri is a board-certified cardiologist and fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with extensive experience in coronary angiography, angioplasty, complex cardiac interventions, and TAVI procedures.
Professor Javad Kajouri is a board-certified cardiologist and fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist based in Shiraz, Iran. He is a Full Professor at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and is regarded as a highly experienced specialist in the diagnosis and interventional treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
He completed his medical degree and cardiology specialty training at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Iran University of Medical Sciences, graduating as the top-ranked fellow in his class.
Professor Kajouri is a member of the Cardiology Board and serves as the Head of the Department of Cardiology at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Alongside his clinical practice, he has made significant contributions to medical education and cardiovascular research and has authored or co-authored numerous articles published in ISI-indexed scientific journals.
With extensive experience in coronary angiography, angioplasty, and advanced interventional cardiac procedures, Professor Kajouri is recognized for his expertise in managing complex cardiovascular conditions. He has also played a pioneering role in introducing and developing advanced procedures in Shiraz, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation, commonly known as TAVI, which allows aortic valve replacement without conventional open-heart surgery.
