Dr. Saadollah Pooyan is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea and anterior-segment specialist based in Shiraz. He graduated among the top three per cent of medical students at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and achieved second place in the Iranian National Ophthalmology Board Examination in 1995. He later completed a cornea and anterior-segment fellowship and has extensive experience in corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, laser vision correction, phakic intraocular lenses, and ocular-surface reconstruction.
